Click Me Application Lynx Provides First UK Accelerate Oracle HCM Release 12

APPLICATION LYNX PROVIDES THE ORACLE HUMAN CAPTIAL MANAGEMENT (HCM) E-BUSINESS SUITE RELEASE 12 FOR A MAJOR FINANCIAL SECTOR CLIENT

One of the first HR/Payroll implementations in the UK via Oracle's "Accelerate" initiative in the shortest timescale to date

Visit Application Lynx October 17-18 No.HR46 at Softworld, NEC

London, October 2007

Application Lynx is pleased to announce that in partnership with Maxima it has completed the first successful UK Accelerated implementation of Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) E-Business Suite Release 12 (R12) version on a Microsoft® Windows platform. The HCM solution was implemented in just 50 days for a major Financial Sector Client. The rapid completion was via Oracle's new "Accelerate" programme which provides Small and Medium-size Enterprises (SME's) with a suitably scaled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution at reduced cost and timescale

The "Accelerated" solution has been implemented for an insurance organisation. The Client uses the Microsoft compatible HCM solution to provide the HR/Payroll backbone for its new 2,000 strong CRM/Sales division. This division services various insurance/re-insurance companies within the organisation.

The project comprised one of the first and fastest Oracle HCM solutions to be deployed via the Accelerate initiative. Application Lynx and Maxima went from project kick-off to go-live for the HR solution in just 10 weeks– a significantly shorter timescale in relation to pre-"Accelerate" implementations. Payroll took an additional two weeks making a total of 12 weeks for the combined HR/Payroll project. The new streamlined user interface provides an extremely user-friendly look and feel to the HCM solution which supported rapid user acceptance.

Tim Lacey, Business Development Director commented, "Some of the key drivers to the success of this project were implementation on a Windows platform, which is most commonly used in the SME market, plus speed of completion. In addition, we've performed several successful HR and payroll projects for Financial Sector organisations, so we were able to maximise our extensive expertise of the sector to circumvent any potential issues. Combined with Oracle's Accelerate programme which provides affordable, quick to deploy solutions suitable for SME's, we were able to provide a stable and robust solution proving that Oracle is now a very real competitive choice for the SME market. Ultimately, the excellent partnership with Maxima and Oracle helped to ensure the swift and successful delivery of this innovative solution."
